The No Trolls Allowed Guidebook

This playful and imaginative children’s book takes young readers on a journey to uncover the truth behind missing classroom supplies, noisy distractions, and everyday chaos - trolls! Jackson, the book’s spirited guide, teaches kids how to handle disruptive classroom moments while keeping calm and focused.

Using my personal vector art style, I crafted expressive and mischievous troll characters that bring humour and energy to the pages. The challenge was finding the perfect balance between making the trolls fun and visually engaging while still reinforcing the book’s message of mindfulness and self-regulation. With the author’s vision and continuous collaboration, I refined the characters, ensuring they complemented the storytelling and resonated with young readers.

My proudest achievement in this project was successfully illustrating Jackson’s journey - turning classroom frustrations into an imaginative and empowering experience that helps kids handle distractions with confidence
